Arnold Hitchcock - Member of the Foundation Arnold was brought up on a tenanted family farm in Essex and read agriculture at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He then joined the family farming business where he has remained. He is a past Chairman of the Potato Marketing Board and past Vice-Chairman of the NFU Mutual Insurance Society. He is Senior Past Master of the Company of Farmers and has served on a number of organisations concerned with agricultural research and co-operation.
